Alexander Goldstein's Alexander Goldstein was born in Moscow USSR into the family of Bolshoi Orchestra musicians. At the age of 6, he began his studies at one of the most prestigious music educational centers in the world, The Gnessin Schools of Music. 16 years later, he completed his music education by graduating at The Gnessin Academy of Music with a Master’s Degree in Conducting and French Horn.

He started composing music in 1976 in Moscow and made his orchestral debut at the age of 18. He composed music scores for 27 feature films, approximately 300 documentaries, countless radio and television shows, animations, commercials, sports programs, circus and stage shows in the US and abroad. Among his credits are instrumental music for various ensembles and orchestras, songs and music for theater and stage.

In 1991, Alexander Goldstein moved from Moscow to the US and continued to compose music for documentary films in New York, New Jersey and now in Naples, Florida.

Alexander Goldstein is considered the world’s leading authority in music for figure skating and various other sports utilizing music in their competition. His contributions, achievements and awards have been recognized worldwide and his opinions are valued. His dedication to SportMusic has led him to work with Olympic and National Team Members of USA, Canada, Russia, Japan, Ukraine, France, China, Bulgaria, Italy, Israel, Greece, Australia, Finland, Poland and others. He has made music programs for hundreds of Olympic, World, European and National winners including numerous Olympic Gold and Silver Medalists and World Championship Medalists.

Alexander has received two Videographer Awards, AVA Platinum Award, Choice Star Award, two Hermes Awards and three Telly Awards. Many films that included Alexander’s participation were awarded State Prize and USSR and International film festival awards in various countries.
